Information Management Consultant – Data Analysis (2 positions)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking two national consultants in Burundi to strengthen the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) information management and data analysis capacity. The consultants will work under the DTM Programme Officer and the Chief of Mission to support evidence‑based planning for climate‑related displacement, cross‑border mobility, and public‑health risks.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and monitor field data on population movements, returns and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure data quality through verification, cleaning and validation procedures.
• Manage and process datasets for statistical and spatial analysis.
• Produce visualizations, maps and reports for DTM information products.
• Support the preparation of project deliverables funded by RE2CLID and PRM interventions.

Required profile

• Burundian national.
• Relevant academic background and proven experience in information management, data analysis or related fields.
• Familiarity with displacement tracking, climate‑displacement or humanitarian data contexts.
• Ability to work under supervision of the DTM Programme Officer and coordinate with mission staff.
