Information Management National Consultant

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a National Information Management Consultant to support its Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) activities in Burundi. The six‑month consultancy will reinforce data collection, analysis and reporting to inform evidence‑based humanitarian response.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in field data collection and monitoring of population movements.
• Conduct data quality assurance and manage the processing of DTM datasets.
• Perform statistical and spatial analysis to identify trends and vulnerabilities.
• Develop visualisations, dashboards and other information products for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of reports and briefings linked to the RE2CLID and PRM‑funded projects.
• Collaborate with the DTM Programme Officer and the Chief of Mission to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Required profile

• Burundian national with a university degree or equivalent experience in information management, statistics, geography or a related field.
• Proven experience in data collection, management and analysis in humanitarian or development contexts.
• Ability to work under supervision and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
