Operations Officer – Industrial Nutrition

About the role

The Operations Officer – Industrial Nutrition will support the development and coordination of industrial operations for therapeutic and preventive nutrition products such as RUTF, RUSF and LNS. Working closely with internal leadership and technical partners, the role ensures that production planning, supply‑chain systems and operational processes meet international food‑manufacturing, quality‑assurance and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute production and capacity planning for nutrition product lines.
• Analyse market and procurement systems to optimise sourcing and inventory.
• Map suppliers and logistics networks, identifying bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Manage operational datasets and reporting tools to support decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with global quality, safety and regulatory standards for therapeutic nutrition.
• Coordinate with multi‑stakeholder teams, including technical partners, to align operational workflows with reference models.
• Support continuous improvement of production systems and operational processes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical capability and operational discipline.
• Experience working across production systems, supply‑chain data and multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Familiarity with international standards for food manufacturing, quality assurance and safety management.
• Ability to contribute to the implementation and strengthening of production workflows in therapeutic nutrition.
