About the role
World Vision is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead the end‑to‑end supply chain function for its child‑focused programmes worldwide. The role ensures that procurement, logistics and supplier relationships are managed efficiently, in line with World Vision policies, to maximise impact for vulnerable children.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and align functional supply chain strategy with global GSCM and regional priorities.
- Lead annual business planning, procurement planning and sourcing strategy development.
- Engage with suppliers, partners, NGOs, local authorities and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
- Represent the supply chain function in strategic planning, project design and partner meetings.
- Prepare and review procurement guidelines, annual procurement plans and sourcing plans in collaboration with finance and operations.
- Conduct spend analysis, market assessments and supplier pre‑qualification in accordance with global policies.
- Manage RFQ/RFP processes, negotiate high‑spend categories and oversee contract development and approval.
- Ensure strategic sourcing controls are integrated into partner and sub‑grantee assessments.
- Vet and finalize global standard contracts, draft category‑specific contracts and monitor supplier performance.
Required profile
- Extensive experience managing supply chain or procurement functions in large, multi‑country organisations.
- Proven ability to develop strategies, lead cross‑functional planning and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of humanitarian procurement standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and contract management skills.
