Supply Chain Manager

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead its supply chain function, ensuring timely implementation of programs that improve the lives of vulnerable children. The role will drive process improvement, simplification, standardisation and cost containment across procurement and logistics activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop functional strategy aligned with global supply chain management (GSCM) and regional priorities.
• Review and finalize annual business plans and procurement plans in coordination with finance and operations.
• Engage proactively with suppliers, partners, local authorities, NGOs and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and share information.
• Represent the SCM function in strategic planning, project design and partner meetings to ensure early SCM input.
• Prepare and socialize procurement planning guidelines and consolidated annual procurement plans.
• Determine category, market and supplier requirements based on spend analysis and execute approved sourcing strategies.
• Lead market assessments, supplier pre‑qualification, RFQ/RFP processes and high‑spend category negotiations.
• Vet and finalize global standard contracts, draft and review supplier contracts where standard templates are not applicable.
• Ensure strategic sourcing processes and controls are integrated into partner and sub‑grantee assessment tools.
