Logistics Support Coordinator

About the role

The Dr. Denis Mukwege Foundation is seeking a Logistics Support Coordinator to assist the Tumaini project in Bujumbura, Burundi. This short‑term assignment (up to 45 working days, including 35 days in‑country) runs from September to December 2026 and supports the Foundation’s mission to combat conflict‑related sexual violence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide logistical support for the implementation of Tumaini activities in Burundi.
• Coordinate the movement of goods, equipment and supplies needed for project operations.
• Assist with inventory tracking and documentation to ensure compliance with donor requirements.
• Liaise with local partners, project staff and external service providers to facilitate smooth logistics processes.
• Support the preparation of logistical reports and contribute to project monitoring.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in logistics coordination, preferably within humanitarian or development projects.
• Ability to work on a short‑term, intensive assignment in Burundi.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
