Burundi Operations Senior Manager/Director

About the role

One Acre Fund is looking for a senior leader to head its operations in Burundi. The role will guide the implementation of the organization’s agricultural services that support nearly 400,000 smallholder farmers across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Burundi operations team, ensuring effective delivery of farm inputs, credit, and training.
• Oversee the coordination of staff at the headquarters in Muramvya and regional offices in Gitega, Ngozi and Bujumbura.
• Monitor program performance and drive continuous improvement to achieve impact targets.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior management or director‑level roles within agriculture, development or related sectors.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and multi‑site operations.
• Strong understanding of smallholder farmer needs and agronomic services.
