EU-Africa Space Policy & Institutional Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a seasoned expert to support the “Support to the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost”. The role will facilitate policy dialogue and institutional cooperation between European and African stakeholders in the space sector.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support policy dialogue between the EU, African Union and related regional bodies.
• Assist in the design and governance of programme steering mechanisms and partnership frameworks.
• Provide advisory input on EU space policy and African space governance structures, including the African Space Agency and Regional Economic Communities.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange, innovation promotion and private‑sector engagement across the partnership.
• Prepare briefing notes, reports and strategic recommendations for senior decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in international relations, public policy, law, political science, space policy or a related discipline.
• At least eight years of professional experience in international cooperation, public policy or institutional advisory work.
• Minimum four years of experience working with EU and/or African Union policy frameworks and institutional processes.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate inter‑institutional dialogue and programme governance.

Required skills

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
