Grants and Partnerships Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) Burundi seeks a Grants and Partnerships Coordinator to manage and grow its multi-donor grants portfolio, from proposal development through donor compliance and reporting. The role covers the entire Grants and Partnerships unit, works closely with the Programs department and reports to the Deputy Director - Programs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify funding opportunities, track the opportunity pipeline and prepare Go/No Go decisions on proposals
• Lead writing and editing of concept notes and proposals, and coordinate their submission to headquarters
• Manage the grants portfolio: review donor agreements, coordinate amendments and budget realignments, and oversee grant closeout
• Maintain the grants tracking table, the OTIS system and a well-organized filing system
• Support partners' participation in program implementation through Project Cycle Meetings
• Contribute to the Partner Capacity Analysis and support the Partnership Working Group
• Provide day-to-day technical guidance to Programs and Operations teams on donor compliance
