Learning and Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, people‑focused Learning and Development Manager to lead employee growth in a fully remote environment. You will design, deliver and evaluate training and career‑progression programs that close skill gaps and foster a culture of continuous learning across our global workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with C‑level executives and department heads to identify organizational and individual skill gaps and align L&D initiatives with business goals.
• Design engaging training curricula, including e‑learning modules, virtual workshops and micro‑learning content for a distributed workforce.
• Lead and continuously improve the remote onboarding program to ensure new hires feel welcomed and equipped from day one.
• Oversee the Learning Management System, managing digital learning infrastructure, course accessibility and tracking.
• Forecast, monitor and optimise the annual L&D budget and negotiate contracts with external training vendors.
• Analyse metrics, conduct skills audits and measure ROI of training initiatives, using learner feedback for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with managers and HR to develop leadership training and career‑pathing frameworks that support internal talent retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Education or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Learning and Development, including at least 2 years in a remote or distributed work setting.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theories, blended learning strategies and instructional design principles.
• Excellent written, verbal and virtual presentation skills, with proven ability to facilitate engaging sessions via video conferencing.

Required skills

• Experience with Learning Management Systems such as Docebo, Canvas or Absorb.
• Proficiency in e‑learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
