Script Writer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Script Writer to develop compelling narratives for a variety of digital media, including YouTube videos, commercials, television spots, and digital campaigns. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with production and creative teams to turn concepts into polished, production‑ready scripts that align with our brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Brainstorm story ideas, themes, and character arcs with directors, producers, and the wider creative team.
• Conduct in‑depth research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and manage pacing to advance the plot.
• Participate in script readings, incorporate feedback, and rewrite as needed.
• Maintain consistent storytelling and format scripts according to industry standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously while meeting strict production deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a script writer, screenwriter, or copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with a deep understanding of pacing, structure, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for pitching ideas and handling feedback.
• Robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of scripts or produced work.
• Flexibility to adapt writing style to different audiences and project requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with script‑writing software such as Final Draft, Celtx, or Fade In.
