Resources Management Officer (RMO) – Mobility EOI

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Resources Management Officer (RMO) to support its Country Office and Sub‑Office operations. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and working closely with the Senior Regional Resources Management Officer, the RMO will oversee financial, human resources and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with IOM policies and donor agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee financial management for all Country Office activities, including expenditure tracking and accountability.
• Conduct financial analysis of programmes and projects in coordination with the Chief of Mission and SRRMO.
• Supervise treasury functions, forecast cash flows, and validate fund receipt and disbursement according to donor agreements.
• Prepare programme and budget reports in line with IOM regulations and review monthly accounts.
• Analyse budget versus actual expenditures, identify variances and take corrective actions to avoid deficits.
• Assist project managers in budget preparation for new initiatives and provide technical support throughout the project cycle.

Required profile

• Experience in financial management, budgeting and cash‑flow forecasting within an international or multilateral organization.
• Familiarity with donor‑funded project administration and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work under the supervision of senior mission leadership and coordinate with regional offices.
