Consultant for Capitalisation of Cibitoke Malaria Project (3‑month)

About the role

MSF is seeking a qualified consultant to lead the capitalisation of the Cibitoke Malaria Project in Burundi. The assignment will run for three months, starting September/October 2026, and will culminate in a comprehensive learning product that captures project insights, successes, and lessons learned.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate reflective workshops with project stakeholders to gather diverse perspectives.
• Collect, analyse and synthesise qualitative data from field staff, partners and beneficiaries.
• Document the project’s design, implementation, outcomes and operational research components.
• Produce a clear, accessible final report and supporting learning materials by the end of 2026.
• Ensure findings are aligned with MSF’s operational models and can inform future malaria programming.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and French.
• Proven experience conducting capitalisations, after‑action reviews or similar learning processes.
• Strong background working in humanitarian or fragile health‑system contexts.
• Familiarity with malaria programmes and the Burundi health environment is an asset.
