Programme Analyst – WEE/EVAWG Nexus (JPO)

About the role

The Junior Professional Officer (JPO) will support UN Women Burundi in delivering integrated Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) and Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) programmes. Working under the Programme Management Specialist, the analyst will contribute to programme implementation, monitoring and coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the implementation and management of WEE and EVAWG programmes.
• Assist in monitoring, administrative and technical management of programme activities.
• Draft documents related to programme launch, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
• Maintain correspondence files and ensure up‑to‑date electronic and hard‑copy records.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentation materials for meetings and workshops.
• Compile information, meeting notes and briefing documents for project coordination.
• Contribute to regular and specific narrative reports in line with donor requirements.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, civil society organisations and UN partners for effective programme delivery.

Required profile

• Fluent in both French and English.
• Born on or after 01/01/1994 (maximum age 32 at application deadline).

Required skills

• Proficiency in PowerPoint for preparing presentation materials.
• Knowledge of Results‑Based Management (RBM) for planning, monitoring and reporting.
