Programme Development and Quality Assurance Director (Local Position)

About the role

World Vision is seeking a senior leader to direct programme development and quality assurance at the national office. The role combines strategic fundraising, grant management, and implementation oversight to advance child‑well‑being objectives across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Lead acquisition of diversified bilateral and multilateral funding by designing concept papers and proposals in partnership with operations, finance and technical teams.
• Develop and roll out the national office’s grants acquisition and management strategy aligned with World Vision’s overall strategy.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership for proposal development, pre‑positioning, and grant performance monitoring.
• Guide divisions to align technical approaches with World Vision’s child‑well‑being strategy.
• Ensure high‑quality reporting, indicator tracking and communication of impact to key stakeholders.
• Design and implement operational guidelines that mainstream child‑well‑being targets into programmes and projects.
• Supervise the preparation of an annual child‑well‑being report and ensure compliance with WV, donor, SPHERE and other standards.
• Oversee development, design, monitoring and evaluation processes to achieve sustainable, high‑impact programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in securing bilateral and multilateral grants and managing large‑scale funding portfolios.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of guiding cross‑functional teams in programme design and implementation.
• Deep understanding of donor trends, grant acquisition strategies and child‑well‑being frameworks.
• Ability to develop strategic plans, business plans and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to donors, partners and internal audiences.
