Remote Script Writer – Full-Time or Contract

About the role

We are looking for a creative Script Writer to develop engaging scripts for a variety of media, including YouTube videos, commercials, television and digital campaigns. Working remotely, you will collaborate with production and creative teams to turn ideas into polished, production‑ready screenplays that align with our brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Collaborate with directors, producers and creative staff to develop story ideas, themes and character arcs.
• Conduct in‑depth research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and pace action to advance the narrative.
• Participate in script readings and revise drafts based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain consistent storytelling and format scripts to industry standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects and meet strict production deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a script writer, screenwriter or copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with an understanding of pacing, structure and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to pitch concepts and accept feedback.
• Flexibility to adapt writing style for different audiences and project requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Celtx or Fade In.
• Robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of scripts or produced work.
