Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI development by reviewing, annotating, and improving backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system design outputs. The role is essential for training AI models that work with backend technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples and engineering workflows.
• Label datasets that involve REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend processes.
• Validate scalability, performance, and reliability standards of server‑side code.
• Provide structured engineering reasoning and feedback on code accuracy.
• Assess and improve backend security, authentication, and microservice implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Prior experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
