Private Sector Engagement Expert (Space Partnership)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role will focus on enhancing private‑sector participation, business development, innovation and investment across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage companies, entrepreneurs and investors to foster partnerships and commercial opportunities in the space, geospatial and technology sectors.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to inform business development strategies.
• Facilitate matchmaking, business support and access‑to‑finance activities for stakeholders.
• Contribute to policy dialogue, institutional partnerships and knowledge‑exchange initiatives that strengthen the African space ecosystem.
• Provide expertise on innovation and investment facilitation within the programme’s framework.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, including market analysis, matchmaking and commercialisation.
• Experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector, preferably with African contexts.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French or Portuguese is an asset.
