Recruitment Intern – Burundi Program

About the role

One Acre Fund is looking for a motivated Recruitment Intern to support its Burundi program. You will work across all departments, assisting with the full recruitment cycle for junior‑level positions while gaining hands‑on experience in a mission‑driven agricultural organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own 10‑12 recruitment pipelines and manage the process from application to offer.
• Review CVs and conduct phone interviews in French or English.
• Post job openings internally and externally and collaborate with posting agencies.
• Edit and format job descriptions for clarity and consistency.
• Maintain data and communications in the Greenhouse applicant tracking system.
• Update the recruitment tracker and support timely reporting to the hiring commission.
• Identify and lead small‑scale process‑improvement projects.
• Coordinate interview logistics with Corporate Operations to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Manage the Burundi Recruitment inbox, respond to inquiries, and import candidate files into Greenhouse.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the global recruitment team as needed.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Experience with the Greenhouse applicant tracking system.
