Network and Telecommunication Administrator

About the role

World Vision is seeking a skilled Network and Telecommunication Administrator to manage and enhance its IT and telecom infrastructure across the organization and field offices. The role involves planning, deploying, and securing network services while supporting the mission of helping vulnerable children worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and recommend LAN/WAN, internet, wireless, and remote‑access solutions based on gathered requirements.
• Design, deploy, and maintain internal telephony, VoIP, and voice‑over‑IP systems for the head office and field locations.
• Install, configure, and manage routers, switches, hubs, VPNs, and firewalls to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
• Maintain local internet access, remote access protocols, and connectivity for all sites.
• Implement and oversee security infrastructure, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and CCTV systems.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes, update IT policies, and manage cybersecurity programs to mitigate threats.
• Assess performance risks, develop contingency plans, and conduct risk assessments for IT controls.
• Research, analyze, and apply hardware or software changes to resolve issues and improve system performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing enterprise network and telecommunication environments.
• Ability to gather and analyze technical requirements and translate them into functional designs.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working with distributed teams and supporting remote locations.
