Space Applications Expert – Satellite Navigation & Connectivity

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert to support satellite navigation, GNSS and augmentation systems, satellite connectivity and the development and uptake of space‑based applications across Africa.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, aeronautics, geomatics or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• At least eight years of professional experience in satellite navigation, telecommunications, satellite connectivity or related applications.
• Minimum four years of experience on satellite‑navigation or connectivity projects, including GNSS, SBAS, aviation, maritime or satellite broadband applications.
• Familiarity with African navigation and augmentation initiatives is considered an asset.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Galileo, EGNOS and IRIS² satellite navigation systems.
• Experience with GNSS and SBAS technologies.
• Knowledge of satellite broadband and connectivity solutions.
