Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, taking full financial responsibility for the division. Reporting directly to the Board, the CFO will support the overall strategic vision and ensure robust financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the central P&L and produce regular financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly business review reports, highlighting results, trends, forecasts and variances to budget.
• Analyse key performance indicators, especially profit margin, new business revenue and cost structures.
• Support the annual budgeting process with financial reports for strategic planning.
• Oversee the year‑end close, review agency accounts and balance sheets, and deliver statutory accounts.
• Provide strategic advice and reporting to the Board.
• Monitor and manage working capital on a monthly basis, investigating variances.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead risk management and business continuity reporting.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 15 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Strong background in compliance, controls and financial processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex information to non‑financial audiences.
• Ambitious and eager to grow with a rapidly expanding business.
