Programme Analyst – Women’s Economic Empowerment & EVAWG

About the role

The Programme Analyst will support the implementation and management of UN Women Burundi’s Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) and Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) programmes. Working under the Programme Management Specialist, the analyst will provide technical assistance, monitor activities, and prepare documentation to ensure effective delivery of the WEE‑EVAWG nexus.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the design, implementation and management of WEE and EVAWG programme activities.
• Assist in monitoring, administrative and technical management of programme components, including data collection and reporting.
• Draft and maintain programme documents, presentations, and correspondence, ensuring up‑to‑date filing of both hard‑copy and electronic records.
• Prepare narrative and donor reports, compile briefing materials, and support the preparation of meeting notes and coordination documents.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, civil society organisations and UN partners to facilitate effective programme implementation and field support.

Required profile

• Fluent in both French and English.
• Born on or after 01/01/1994 (maximum age 32 at the time of application).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for preparing presentation materials.
• Knowledge of Results‑Based Management (RBM) principles for monitoring and reporting.
