Project Manager

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation and monitoring of a humanitarian grant aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable children. The role reports to the Operations Director and works closely with project staff, partners and donors to ensure objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update workforce planning in collaboration with the project team.
• Ensure project systems and staff operate in line with World Vision and donor accountability standards.
• Direct grant implementation, overseeing planning, staffing, quality assurance and performance monitoring.
• Supervise and coach project staff, conduct capacity‑building assessments and mentor team members.
• Coordinate with service providers, set performance objectives and manage contracts.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, donor requirements and government priorities, especially in malaria programming.
• Provide spiritual leadership and uphold World Vision’s core values.
• Review and approve expenditures within delegated authority.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing humanitarian or development projects.
• Strong understanding of grant management, donor compliance and financial stewardship.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and build high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication skills and capacity to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to World Vision’s Christian mission and values.
